Q: So I'm currently looking at a desk at ikea and i was just curious wheather or not ikea products are of good quality. I know that they are cheap but thats why i was curious wheather or not i should spend money on their products. i love to the store too but i really want to know if i should spend my money their or if i should spend a little extra money somewhere else. thanks.
A: Ikea's stuff is excellent. I've had pieces from there that have lasted for years and years...without much wear and tear at all. The prices are low because you deliver it, and assemble it yourself. They do away with over half of the cost of manufacturing furniture and warehousing large pieces, and cut their overhead that way--their quality is great and they save you loads of cash.
