Q: I have a plum tree in my yard that gives us the most delicious fruit. This year has been the biggest year yet! My husband suggested that we freeze some so that we can have some (other than canning) to last all winter. Is there any specific prep work I should do so that I don't ruin them? Like maybe pitting them? I've never frozen plums before. Any advice will be great :)
A: I just clean, cut, pit and freeze, same way as I do strawberries and apples. http://www.butterfliesbirdsandblooms.com/home/
