Concrete or Blacktop? Which would you have as a drive way?

Q: Please explain your answer. Which do you think is worth more in value, in the long term? Or an alternative answer is OK too. In the long run, it is proven that Concrete does increase value on a home. as far as freezing, I agree with Kencab, about the air under the bridges, that effect freezing. However, it does draw more heat from the sun and will thaw out the snow faster. I think concrete will last long if it is done properly. Expansion joints are a must, to stop cracks, however Blacktop is flexable. Blacktop will require a maintance, the winters and summers dry it out and the tar stinks, not to mention it will ruin a pair of shoes. Also because of the flex, heavy vehicles and motor cycle kick stands, sint into the surface. A: Concrete is more durable, doesn't rut, doesn't need periodic resealing and worth more at resale but also costs more to install.
